Where is your Teddy?

Nothing is more important to me than my attitude. I can remember as a little girl when I was growing up on the farm, I was alone a lot of the time. I would get off the bus, change clothes and run to the gully to play until supper. My dog, Teddy and I would just be nearby each other, doing what inspired us. For me it was catching crayfish, skipping rocks or listening to the water rippling to it’s destination. Teddy was always sniffing at the door of some animal and tracking it’s latest path with vengeance. We would bob our heads up occasionally to see where the other was and when we could determine it was still within eyesight, we would resume our project.
To this day, I miss those simple yet exciting times. I miss the ability to capture every moment that I can. To have the freedom to do exactly what I want, when I want to. The quality of our lives is determined by the choices we make: which career path we take, which partner we choose, the lifestyle we embrace. We have the same responsibility and power to choose our attitude and approach to everyday life.
You have a choice. You can accept any attitude you choose. I choose to take charge of my future to be able to do the things that inspire me. I want to spend more time with the people that have a great attitude. I know contently, that I am doing what my heart desires. You can let life run you or you can take it on! Your attitude is a choice. What do you choose??

... Stopping to Start?

Everyone says, get started, get going, get moving. OK already. So I have jumped right up on the health band wagon since it was something I needed to do and now here I am.
Question is now, what ‘s the most important thing to do first? It took some thought, then I realized I had already done the most important thing I could do.  Quit smokingJ
Why is that such a HUGE health breaker? Or I could say heart breaker? Because it effects how everything, absolutely everything in our body works. Think of it like this, your entire body, right down to each hair follicle, each cell, each DNA molecule needs oxygen to maintain its natural function. When we inhale smoke (of any kind boomers) you deprive yourself of that. You inhale toxic fumes, tar and whatever else you are working around. Like paint spray, coal, sheet rock dust, insulation, auto exhaust etc.
So the first thing is to get more oxygen.
Now sit up and take a deep breath. Your body thanks you!!
Next I will tell you what I learned about dis-ease prevention.

Keep breathing and moving
If you want a quick personal health analysis, I will give you one over the phone. (no fee)

Look out for the Green Eyed Monster!

Ever notice when you are doing something great with your life, well it feels great to you, you want to share it like a kid winning a candy contest? It's a healthy happiness that you want to shout to the world.

But...the world may not want to hear it. Why? Because they can't have the feeling too. It's simple. The green eyed monster inside everyone, wants what you have. They want to kick your shins and stick our their tongue. They want to steal it away. Sometimes they can. They can steal your very dream, your happy thoughts, your true inspiration right out from under you. You get what I'm saying??

Don't let anyone steal your dream, keep your happiness, your positive thoughts safe from thieves. You have to hold on tight. Never give them up. Never stop sharing how great you feel. Always remember happiness is a choice. Everyone can make that choice. Everyone can have their own happiness. They have the power to make their own dreams come true. I believe in you!

If you choose to, you can learn how to make your next 2 years of your life totally different than the last 2. Contact me at sandrabullard11@gmail.com and put "READY" in the subject line.

It's shocking but true!

We are our own worst critics. Put on some rose colored glasses, do some positive talk. Why is it I see the good in others but rarely in myself? Trying too hard not to feel good about myself. I was taught early on that if you feel good about yourself you'll begin to brag. You can't brag because it's not polite. You see the trend of thinking??

It's stinkin' thinkin'!! Plain and simple. You get what you think about all day long.

I started to turn that tune around with the help of some wonderful mentors, friends and I am going to give myself credit here too. (After all I did the turning.) I was able to get going in the direction of my dreams. They look far away only when you aren't in the moment. Get in the moment and enjoy the journey.

Focus, Focus, Focus on what you want, not what you don't have. It's on it's way. Life is good. Live your dreams every day, do something wonderful for someone else. You'll spill some on yourself:)

Even the Oak was Once a Nut Like Me

I planted an oak seed behind my house, Every spring I would go and look at the spot that I had placed it-it was marked by a popsicle stick.
The 1st year it sprouted and grew and inch or so, I protected it from the deer by putting a cage around it made of wire.
The 2nd year I had to remove the cage and place a tall fence so that it could grow taller and still not be dinner for those deer.
The 3rd year it was about to the top of my head and was fanning out nicely, now I was concerned, I couldn't protect it so easy. I put a fence way out around it to hopefully keep the deer a way, it's branches were still tender and would make a great feast.
The 4th year I could see it from the house, standing proud and waving it's newest branches in the wind. I couldn't protect it anymore, but the bark on the tree had grown hard and strong and it really was a great spot for them to rub their horns, the leaves were just out of reach and they would have to dine elsewhere.
The 5th year that tree took off like a rocket toward the sky. It was strong and sturdy and grew a trunk so big I couldn't get my arms around it to touch the other side any more.
I wondered, what took it so long to really take off. Then as if the tree itself had the answer, I tripped over the root that had popped above ground. That's it, It couldn't grow tall till the roots grew strong enough to hold it.
Just like trees ourselves, we have to grow our roots, before we can grow tall. It's this process of growth that is important to withstanding the winds when they blow and the changes of season. It will give us the strength to keep reaching higher and higher and become all we can be. Do this with your health and in your business. Build strong roots. Build strong bodies.

Friday

Helping people take back responsibility for their health.

Ask yourself who you think the expert on your health is. If you think it's your doctor, please read on. It needs to be you. You are the only one that really knows your body, your symptoms, what you feed yourself and what activity and thoughts you have all day long. Those are the things that make you well or sick. If you are ready to get in tune with your health, I can help you in a blink of an eye. It doesn't mean you don't see your doctor, not at all, it means you will have important information to help him/her get you well and keep you well. I also can be your wellness partner. That means you and I touch base about once a month to see what progress you are making on your health balance and see how you can press forward to wellness. It's a process, not a procedure. I'll be waiting for you to contact me:)

Take A Second Chance

I used to always hear you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I believe that is true. Apart from that one truth, everything I really wanted to do in my life, I have had a second opportunity to do it right.

I used to want to go back to nursing school. I pushed that dream so far and so deep that it actually hurt to see someone that was a nurse walk by in the doctors office or the hospital or the nursing home. I guess when it hurts bad enough, you eventually should do something about it. So I did.

I had network marketing businesses in the past that were not successful. That haunted me. I knew I was just as hard working and dedicated as anyone could be. I got a second chance to do something about it. So I did.

Years ago I was in a marriage that kept me from being the person I needed to be. I almost died inside, sometimes I was on self destruct. Until I decided I had to do something to change it. So I did.

If something is making you "Not Well", change it. Take that second chance. You will have what it takes. Believe in yourself. If you need a friend, I am here for you.

Give Me a Pay Raise Please!!

Could you use more money—say, $5,000 to $10,000 a year? How much would that be a month? $416-$826--how about a week...$96.15-$192.30. When I break down the math, It doesn't look quite as good. It's no wonder when we get a raise, we only get enough motivation to keep working. The idea of working all my life for someone else was physically killing me. Now maybe it doesn't affect everyone that way. But It did me. On the way to work Monday morning I actually got physically sick. It's definitely psychological because when I drive the same route on the weekend I get the same sick feeling.
No wonder they say that most heart attacks happen on Monday mornings. I didn't want to become that statistic. So I got busy, yes setting goals again. Next time I'll tell you my first health goal.
